Hey...we've been hearing how some of you have had your budgets squeezed this year and so you're left to figure out how to get to the conference. Share how you're thinking and rethinking out of the box and coming up with clever ideas!
Here's some of the best I've heard so far:
#1 Going on a diet... so not only do I put the extra grocery money in a jar so I can get there, but I'll look really good for the conference.
#2 selling their kidney. (joking.....)
#3 cleaning out closets and selling stuff on Ebay
#4 Make up sponsorship cards with pictures and bio of those who want to go. Include a brief paragraph of why they want to go. Put check boxes on the back with sponsorship amounts from $1 to the full amount. Pitch it to parents that everybody is going to learn how to better partner with them to influence their sons and daughters.
